A Note on the Awarding of Medals and Honors :

The awarding of medals and honors to members of the USMC WARRIORS is by no means intended to diminish those real-life achievements of true valorous medal holding servicemen or units. It is in celebration and remembrance of these individuals that we honor them with this tradition of recognizing valor and service.

It follows that no Congressional Medals of Honor nor Purple Hearts will be dispensed here in respectful deference to the real-life gravity these medals convey.

A great attempt has been made to hold true to the original intention of each decoration and its order of precedence, while not over-issuing awards. We have selected mainly the valorous decorations for individual awards and a number of unit citations appropriate to unit combat.

Decorations proceed from an individual being formally recognized and nominated by a fellow member, which is then confirmed and issued by USMC-WARRIOR leadership.
